The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry

The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry were raised to thirteen battalions during the great war. Typically a battalion consists of 300 to 800 soldiers. They served on the Western Front along with three territorial forces and eight volunteer service battalions all raised by Lord Kitchener.
