COIL Packaging Design Project

With Huhtamaki and MIT Institute of Design, Pune

Product Design students from MSOA and MIT-ID, Pune collaborated on a 6 week packaging project: to rethink packaging used in daily rituals, using circular economy principles as creative catalysts to create new sustainable customer choices and behaviour. Teams from MSOA-PD and MIT-ID used Miro as a platform to share research and ideas each week, along with time for chats and cultural exchange. Students redesigned a range of packaging from cosmetic refills to recyclable Ghee packaging. UNIT X partnered with Huhtamaki (Global packaging manufacturer) who provided industry knowledge and feedback on student ideas during the project.
