With the advancement of the metaverse, how can we explore new economic modalities through the lens of the built environment, the design, production, and inhabitation of the physical world?

The Economies of Pixels project is speculative driven which allows students to collectively challenge societal ideas to create critical future designs. When looking at future scenarios, there are perspectives of the metaverse that influence all our concepts of living. For us to utilise the metaverse, we need to consider future scenarios and project its potential capacity and implementation.

For students this has been an opportunity to reconsider how we live and work together and propose different future scenarios.
