'Thinking Outloud' Exhibition

A series of 'body prints' commissioned for a women's Temple Sister Circle event called 'Powdered Pussy', a weekend event in 2023 at the Lighthouse, Manchester. This series depicts the female body and the parts that are ignored and despised, that long for touch and awareness. In the process of art and ritual, these body parts are lovingly witnessed, exorcised, held and tended to and taken back into wholeness and pure integration. Text relays the vocalisation of the divine feminine power to return to herself and be fully embodied. The practice brings about the sweet succour and retrieval of the lost part/s of the soul. This series is a tender musing upon female bodies' wild essence and are the deification of the sacred.
