Cities, Urban form and Transformation

During the 21st urban transformation of cities has been intensely affected by flows of socio-economic and technological processes. The term urban form has been used in the recent literature to describe a city's physical characteristics and features that are related to land-use patterns, transportation systems or sometimes to urban design. However, urban form is not only related to the physical sides but also might make other contributions to social aspects such as social interaction and a sense of society.
