The concept or initiative of the smart city is still in the earliest stage of advancement. However, many big cities in the EU have at least one implemented initiative. They also illustrate the number of smart cities in each country in the 28 European countries, and the result shows that UK, Spain and Italy have the most considerable number of the implementation of the smart city concept.
