Traveller's Tales

This practice-led project examined the concept of embedded narrative; the way that aspects of culture, history and memory are invested within a crafted object. It built upon research practices mapped out in 'Beyond the Seas' (RAE2008), which explored the effects of cultural dislocation on the crafted artefacts of colonial Australia.
