Venue: | Salford Museum and Gallery |
Make Place Talks Programme is a public series of presentations by renowned academics and artists from across the UK exploring themes of domestic space and identity at Salford Museum and Art Gallery. This programme will contextualise and open up Sophie Lee's artistic research into domesticity as part of her Arts Council England funded research project Make Place. The project has included site interaction at Gvendareyjar islands in Iceland and engagement with Salford Museum and Art Gallery's extensive collection of nineteenth-century household objects, furniture, fixtures and fittings. This project will conclude in a Solo Exhibition at Artwork Atelier, Salford.
