Memory Cloths

This body of work investigates how cloth and stitch can be used to explore loss and mourning. The artefacts represent contemporary iterations of the mourning cloth using unconventional materials including safety pins. The work was shown as part of the Rural Craft Re –Imagined, a touring exhibition in 2015 in remote rural locations in the North of England.
