4 Not another f**** story

A Publication, developing the themes and ideas from the 'Sex Death and Flatpackfurniture' exhibition: 5 Artists/ contributors, producing work in response to the title. Whilst the contributors will use the Narrative possibilities of the book form and photographic sequences as their starting point. It is expected that the book will not illustrate, be prescribed or use conventional narrative forms to explain or channel the reader. Indeed the work will be a response against the preconceived or expected, the linear, or held within the contained vision of the single author.

The Book will engage with the visceral and not academic sensitivities of the reader: Photography perhaps sits more comfortably with Myth and Magic, Alchemy and Wonder than Narrative or Story-Tellling. It will be the intention of the Book to exploit and utilise this tension
