As a member of the Animation staff team I support the 3D CGI and Visual Effects elements of the course combining 3D, 2D and filmed work. Part of my role is to liaise with industry and connect the course with potential employers and to provide live briefs for students to undertake.

New technologies are combined with traditional techniques across the School of Art and Animation mixes whichever techniques best help convey a story. The exhibitions throughout the year in the gallery spaces are a constant source of inspiration both in terms of the quality and variety of work.

Manchester School of Art has a great history of nurturing and supporting world renowned talent and I am proud to be continuing that tradition in this most contemporary of environments.
