Adam Tranter and Andrew Page win Spin Awards Grand Gold Prize
BA (Hons) Graphic Design students Adam Tranter and Andrew Page won the Spin Awards 2016 Global Grand Prize, awarded to them at a ceremony in Amsterdam.
The pair received the prize for their mobile application WHack, which blurs the boundaries of the digital environment and the real world. Through the app users can impose their artwork onto their surroundings, meaning that they can create images of digital graffiti on walls or animations in windows.
In order to win the prize, the paid pitched travelled to Amsterdam where they pitched their concept to a panel of industry experts, competing against 12 other teams from across universities in Europe.
