Manchester School of Art rated highly in Guardian University Guide

In the top ten for design, crafts and architecture
MANCHESTER School of Art achieved huge rises in this year’s Guardian University Guide.
We have risen to join the top 10 in the “design and crafts” section of the league tables, rising 10 places from number 19 last year to number nine. Architecture has also remained in the top 10 nationally, continuing their tradition of excellence by placing at number nine.
Fashion has remained at number 20, and art has risen one place to number 30.
The University as a whole has risen 17 places in the Guardian’s league table of UK universities, climbing from 77th place to 60th in the 2017 rankings.
The rise follows success earlier this year in the Complete University Guide rankings where the University recorded the largest rise of any UK university.
