Designers showcased at annual fashion show
DO you have a passion for fashion? Can you tell your Gucci from your Pucci and your YSL from your M&S? Does the idea of spotting the next big fashion designer before they make it big excite you?
If so, there is still chance for you to snap up a ticket to the Manchester School of Art’s annual fashion show at 5pm, tomorrow.
Showcasing the work of final year fashion and textiles students, this prestigious event provides one of the first opportunities to see the next generation of designers.
Alumni of the school include Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen, and Agi Mdumulla, of new menswear stars Agi & Sam.

The show is taking place in in the vertical gallery space, on the fourth floor of our brand new School of Art building.
Tickets cost £10 and are available to buy online at www.artdes.mmu.ac.uk/fashionshow/
Refreshments are included in the ticket price and will be served in the main reception area of the building from 4:15pm.
The best collections from the Manchester shows will be shown at the School of Art catwalk show at Graduate Fashion Week on Tuesday, 4 June, where student designers battle it out for big prizes in front of packed audiences of industry insiders, journalists and VIPs.
