Fragile Brutalism: Ukrainian Mass Housing

To celebrate their upcoming exhibition at the modernist gallery Manchester School of Architecture is excited to welcome SERIA__ to present their work on the past, present, and future of Ukranian Mass Housing. This will be followed by a panel discussion. Open to all.

SERIA__ is an urban graphic project devoted to the brutalist mass housing in Ukraine prior and during the war. SERIA__ was founded by Dasha Podoltseva (designer) and Elena Orap (architect) in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2018.  SERIA__ presents a selection of limited-edition screen prints, t-shirts, porcelain, and concrete objects.
