Isabella Indolfi
Digital Immersion Research Talks
5pm—6pm
Isabella Indolfi is an independent curator and consultant for contemporary art. She develops and produces projects in collaboration with artists, institutions, festivals, galleries and museums. Isabella founded and supervises the Biennial Festival of Environmental Art Seminaria since 2011, and has collaborated with institutions and other festivals in the creation of numerous public art installations. She recently co-curated the XI Cyfest (New York / Brighton / Beijing / St. Petersburg / Caserta) and the IV Media Art Festival in Rome (IT).
This talk is an attempt to analyse the latest trend of media art in the contemporary art field, looking at how it has modified the relationship between audience and space. Isabella will talk us through some of the recent projects and exhibitions she has worked on, including the partnership, between Cyfest, the largest Russian media art festival, and Seminaria, one of the most relevant Italian festival of environmental art.
