Professor John Hyatt
Fist of Grass: can history painting be made in 2015?
5.30pm—6.30pm
Professor John Hyatt will be talking about his new collaborative research sparked by the centenary of the Easter Rising in Ireland in the context of 30 years of his research as an artist and musician. The work is very much ‘in the making’ and investigates the spaces between notions of a revolutionary and a terrorist; the personal and the political; Romanticism and revolution; history and representation amongst other questions.
