Terry Shave

Born in Suffolk and educated at Loughborough College of Art and the Slade School in London, Terry Shave has an extensive track record as an artist/ educator/facilitator and is an Emeritus Professor of Fine Art. His one-person exhibitions include London, Birmingham, Sheffield and abroad in New York and South Korea. He has also been in more than 150 mixed exhibitions. Shave has initiated & developed significant arts projects nationally & abroad, with a particular focus on location specific intervention work to explore socio-political & historical interpretations of sites, he is currently a Director of Dust Rising, an artist Community Interest Company based in Stoke-on-Trent, supporting emerging artists in the Midlands. He is a painter with a studio on the old Spode factory site in Stoke.
