Alistair McDowall
Shane Kinghorn and Michael Pinchbeck from Manchester School of Theatre interview playwright, Alistair McDowall. McDowall grew up in the North East of England. His plays include all of it; X; Talk Show (Royal Court), Pomona (Orange Tree Theatre/National Theatre/Royal Exchange Theatre), Zero for the Young Dudes! (National Theatre Connections), Brilliant Adventures (Royal Exchange Theatre/Live Theatre), and Captain Amazing (Live Theatre). He was a recipient of the Harold Pinter Commission, a Bruntwood Award, and is a MacDowell Fellow. His work has been translated and produced internationally. He is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing (Script) at Manchester Writing School.
