Josh Edelman

Michael Pinchbeck (Reader in Theatre) interviews Josh Edelman, Senior Lecturer in Drama & Contemporary Performance at Manchester School of Art. His two primary areas of research are; the relationships between performance, ritual and religion in the modern West, and the overlaps between politics, policy and theatre-making in Contemporary Europe. He also works on contemporary Irish performance, experiments in audienc-ing, and new writing. He is currently engaged in research exploring the affects of the COVID-19 pandemic on religious practice.
